Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of condolences to the Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qassemi, following the death of Sheikha Alyaa bint Mohamed bin Saqr Al Qassemi. The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable to Dr Sheikh Sultan.
Brussels: The Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah attended a meeting on Somalia here yesterday. It discussed developments in Somalia and stressed the importance of political dialogue between all parties to maintain security and build sound institutions. QNA
