Emir receives credentials of new ambassadors

DOHA: HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at his Emiri Diwan office this morning the credentials of five new ambassadors to Qatar.

HH the Emir received the credentials of HE Qaderi Ardeshir, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, HE Nicholas Dunster Hopton, Ambassador of the United Kingdom, HE Ioannis Metaxas, Ambassador of Greece, HE Yvette van Eechoud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and HE Rossana Cecilia Surballe Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina.

Their excellences the Ambassadors conveyed to HH the Emir greetings of their countries' leaders and wishes of the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.

HH the Emir for his part welcomes the new ambassadors and wished them success in their tasks and the relations between Qatar and their countries further development and growth.

Before presenting their credentials, the new ambassadors received an official reception ceremony. (QNA)
