DOHA: Qatar Foundation for Elders Care is preparing to open its day care centre with new psychology programmes for the elders. Psychologists and councilors will be supporting the elders to over come problems, reported an Arabic daily yesterday.
Mubarak Abdul Aziz Al Khalifa, director general at the Qatar Foundation for Elders Care said: “We are working to open the day care centre soon and trying to attract more elders to join the foundation giving them a chance to accommodate them from morning to evening.”
Qatar Foundation for Elders Care is also making arrangements to develop an entertainment club for elders, where they can participate in activities besides the nursing services provided. It aims to attract elders from all parts of the country.
