Al Attiyah Foundation to organise ‘Energy Day’ at Bosphorus Summit

The Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy and Sustainable Development’ is partnering with Uluslararasi işbirliği Platformu - International Cooperation Platform (UIP-ICP) to organise the 8th International Bosphorus Summit, in Turkey from November 28 to 30, 2017.
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will be opening the summit which will focus on the theme: “Design for the Future; The New Challenge of Globalization.”
In its 8th Year, the event provides a platform for major networking and partnering between nations.
The International Cooperation Forum is an independent body established more than six years ago.
It aims to promote effective multilateral cooperation and specialisations for sustainable development. The Turkish Forum regularly organises the World Bosphorus Summit, which is attended by nearly 5,000 people from 90 countries.
“It’s a great opportunity to work with our partner, UIP-ICP, to foster dialogue among our regional and international peers. We will emphasise the role of Qatar as a thought-leader and champion for international collaboration and communication.” said Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Founder of Al Attiyah Foundation.
Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, CEO and President of Qatar Petroleum, added: “We are very pleased to support the 8th Bosphorus Summit, which we believe will help enhance global cooperation and further bolster Qatar’s historic relations with Turkey.”
The Al Attiyah Foundation is co-managing the programme for the second day - ‘Energy Day’ of the summit, dedicated to Energy and Sustainability.   
The Foundation will lead the discussion with world-renowned experts on ‘how the global energy landscape will evolve.’ On the first day, Al Attiyah will also join an expert ministerial panel exploring the theme in detail.
In addition, Qatar will be represented by four leading companies from the oil and gas industry: Qatar Petroleum, Qatargas, Woqod and Gulf Helicopters.
