251 camps booked on first day of registration

Doha: The first day of registration for the winter camping season 2022-23 witnessed a smooth and easy process, as 251 camps were booked by 3pm yesterday, or 34% of the number of camps available on the first day, in Sealine and Al Adeed coastal areas.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change had previously announced the start of the annual winter camping season 2022-23, which will be held in the northern and central regions of the country from November 1, 2022 until April 1, 2023.

It was decided to postpone camping in the southern regions (Selen and Khor Al Adaid) until December 20, 2022, and where the camping period will be extended until May 20, 2023. 

This is a part of the efforts of the Ministry to provide the best quality of services to the campers.
