Doha: The Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Dr Mohamed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi yesterday visited Al Iman Secondary Independent School for Girls where he met with its principal Fawziya Ishkinazi and the teaching and administrative staff and discussed a slew of academic affairs including the language used in scientific textbook and exams.
Al Hammadi, who is also the Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council (SEC), also met with the girls at the school theatre and was informed of their views and proposals on national exams, the end of the year exams in the first and second terms' curriculum, prospects of mitigating the standards plans, the revision of the educational resources and the use of Arabic and English languages in the questions.
