New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal yesterday filed his nomination from the New Delhi assembly constituency and said the countdown to end Congress “misrule” had begun.
The New Delhi constituency will witness a triangular contest between Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Vijender Gupta and Kejriwal.
Dikshit filed her nomination on Thursday.
Accompanied by his father Gobind Ram Kejriwal, mother Gita Devi and former naval chief Admiral Ramdas besides a large number of supporters, Kejriwal reached the election office at Jamnagar House yesterday morning, the last day for filing nominations.
