In an evening that brought together industry leaders, senior executives, and distinguished guests, BSL hosted an exclusive gala at the Museum of Islamic Art on November 12 to celebrate its official accreditation from the Association for Project Management (APM). The achievement establishes BSL as one of the first providers of the APM Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ) in the GCC, positioning the company at the forefront of professional project-management training and international accreditation standards in the region.

The APM accreditation, awarded by the world’s only chartered body for project management, reflects BSL’s commitment to advancing professional capability and delivering globally recognized programs tailored to the Gulf’s evolving business landscape. The ceremony was held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Falah Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al-Thani, Chairman of BSL, whose presence underscored the strategic significance of the milestone and the company’s alignment with Qatar’s national vision for professional and human-capital development.

Speakers highlighted that the APM PMQ qualification is relevant across industries, equipping professionals with frameworks and methodologies that enhance leadership, performance, and strategic impact.

Alastair Godbold, Vice President of APM, commended the partnership, stating:
“We believe that building local capability is the foundation of sustainable success. BSL’s accreditation demonstrates what can be achieved when international standards meet regional ambition.”
Bernardo Retana, Board Director at BSL, emphasized the company’s forward-looking approach: “This recognition represents more than institutional success; it reflects our belief that education and training are long-term investments that create tangible value for business and society.”

Amina Mohamed Hanif Tagari, Head of Training at BSL, reflected on the journey behind the achievement:
“What we celebrate today is the result of teamwork, shared purpose, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Together, we have built programs that truly empower professionals to lead with confidence and skill.”
The evening concluded with a shared sense of pride and optimism. Beyond being a corporate milestone, the APM accreditation represents the beginning of a new era for project management in Qatar and the wider GCC, defined by excellence, collaboration, and the continuous pursuit of professional growth.
