A total of 27,117 members of Bangladesh army, defence officials and volunteer schoolchildren form the world’s largest national flag to mark the country’s Victory Day in Dhaka yesterday. Bangladesh won independence from Pakistan after a nine-month war in 1971, led by the country’s founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
