DOHA: Ooredoo yesterday announced it will boost the amount of mobile data available to Shahry and Hala customers by 18 times their normal data allowance, in celebration of Qatar National Day.
The offer will enable customers to share pictures and videos of National Day celebrations on social media, and stay in touch with friends around the world.
All Shahry Packs, Mobile Internet Packs and Shahry BlackBerry customers will be eligible for the offer, along with all Hala Weekly Packs, Mobile Internet Packs and Hala BlackBerry customers.
This extra data will be valid from December 17 to 19 and any added data will be used first.
It will be added and removed automatically to all new and existing customers’ data allowance during the three-day period.
In addition to using additional data to surf the Internet, Ooredoo is also asking customers to share reasons why they love Qatar on its special webpage – www.weareallqatar.com – or by tweeting their messages with the hashtag #weareallqatar.
Ooredoo is collating different reasons in a special giant mural, which will display 5,000 reasons why people love Qatar, celebrating the “One Love” theme of this year’s National Day celebrations.
The mural will be displayed online at the weareallqatar.com website. It will also be printed and displayed at Landmark Mall.
