Doha, Qatar: The Ambassador of Japan to Qatar H E Naoto Hisajima has extended warm congratulations to Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the government and people of Qatar on the occasion of Qatar National Day, praising the country’s remarkable progress under the Amir’s leadership, its active role on the global stage, and the strong, enduring relations between Qatar and Japan.
“Qatar has long achieved prominence in the Middle East and has greatly enhanced its presence in the international community under the leadership of H H the Amir. Over the years, Qatar has channelled significant efforts into the cultural, sports, education, and tourism sectors, among others emphatically stressing on the knowledge based economy.These efforts have contributed to complete the picture of Qatar as an even stronger and more vibrant country in the world today,” the ambassador said.
“Qatar’s active diplomacy to promote better and closer relations with other countries is also highly appreciated.
With Japan in particular, Qatar has always shared an excellent and special relations since the establishment of its diplomatic relations. And as we celebrate this auspicious occasion with Qatar, we reiterate our hope for our long lasting cooperative relations to be further strengthened in the future.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Qatar for the historic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. I am very excited and look forward to watching Al-Annabi (Qatar National Team) deliver a powerful performance in the world cup matches next year,” the envoy said.
