Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has issued a ratification document approving a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research Cooperation between Qatar and Vietnam signed in Hanoi on January 16, 2012.
The Emir also issued ratification documents approving an Agreement on the Establishment of the Global Green Growth Institute signed in Rio de Janeiro on June 20, 2012, and a draft agreement between Qatar and Barbados on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income, signed in Doha on December, 12 2012. )
The Emir has issued a Decree No. 5 of 2013 ratifying a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on environmental cooperation between Qatar and Singapore, which was signed in Doha on March 13, 2012.
The MoU shall have the power of law according to the Article 68 of the Constitution. The decree is to be effective from its date of issue and will be published in the Official Gazette. QNA
