DOHA: Qatar Primary Materials Company (QPMC) hosted an annual employee appreciation and recognition ceremony marking a record of its employee’s successes, corporate contributions and achievements, said a statement yesterday.
The annual Employee and Labours Award ceremony brought together QPMC’s staff and labours from various departments including the Washed Sand plants department, projects management department, logistic yards and supply chain departments who were also in attendance.
The event reflected QPMC’s core foundation aimed at maintaining a continuous communication stream with its employees, acknowledging their hard work, contribution and efforts, which played a major role in achieving the company’s vision and helping QPMC achieve its goals and utmost potential.
Eisa Al Hammadi, QPMC Chief Executive Officer and Dr Latifa Al Darwish, QPMC Director of Administration led the event.
Al Hammadi said: “Today we recognise and appreciate QPMC’s employees on various front. The past years have been a time of major accomplishments, a plateau achieved by the mutual integrity and loyalty between QPMC, its staff and labours. The pride and integrity we share today is the authentic and driving force behind QPMC’s success and achievements.”
He added: “We are pleased to be together on this occasion to celebrate the outstanding performance of QPMC over the past years, which has been the corner stone of QPMC and the force that helped achieve our business and industrial milestones. This achievement is due to the dedication and hard work of our employees; the essence of QPMC’s reputation and pride.”
Al Hammadi said: “Team spirit leads to the harmony and integration of roles necessary in carrying out strategic projects, as well as achieving company objectives.”
Al Darwish said: “Motivation and honouring employees have become key characteristics of QPMC and a cherished tradition which reaffirms QPMC’s milestones. We are thrilled to express our pride and gratitude of belonging to this great organisation.”
“Indications of QPMC’s successes are evident, and efforts of doing so will constantly be valued by the company’s management in efforts to spread our values and maximise our performance,” Al Darwish said.
The celebrations was inspirational and encouraging to QPMC’s staff and labours, an environment that highlighted the engagements of QPMC employees and labours of all grades across the various departments and sites as Employee Service Awards were handed out to attendees.
