Losail Circuit set for opening round of QTCC and Qatar Superstock 600

Excitement returns to Losail International Circuit this weekend with the opening rounds of Qatar Superstock 600 and Qatar Touring Car Championship (QTCC)  on January 20 and 21.
Qatar Superstock 600 will consists of 12 races over 6 rounds where all riders will compete with the best of their racing skills using one-make bike that will be used for the rest of the season.
Addressing a press conference yesterday QMMF President  Abdulrahman Al Mannai thanked all the participants.
"Thanks to everybody involved in these championships, all the media, the sponsors and in principle all the participants in both championships that play a big role to make this happen and delivering on these championships."
"We are here, very happy to start the championships this weekend and we are looking forward to see a lot of excitement," ended the QMMF President. Khalid Al Remaihi, Losail Circuit Sports Club General Manager also thanked the participants of both championships.
"I want to emphasize specially Mansour and Abdullah, all the drivers of the QTCC side, as they took it upon themselves to study the regulations, promote the regulations to other drivers, get people involved so and it will be something that will suit all their needs so we really thank them for that’ said Al Remaihi.
On Friday there will be free practices for QSTK and QTCC starting from 10:00 and the activity will end at 16:25. On Saturday, there will be two races for each championship, QSTK race 1 at 11:30 and race 2 and 14;10 and for QTCC the race 1 at 12:45 and race 2 at 15:45.  
For all the fans and spectators, the Grandstand will be free and also the Paddock will be open both days.
