Doha: Ninety-three Qatari students have graduated from the pilot phase of the Ras Laffan Industrial City Community Outreach Programme (RLIC-COP), RasGas Company said yesterday.

The RLIC-COP had launched the Northern Community Skills Development Project (NCSDP) for English Language Training in Al Khor in November 2012, RsGas said.

The RLIC-COP was established by the seven leading energy companies operating in Ras Laffan Industrial City (Qatar Petroleum, Qatargas, RasGas, Qatar Shell, Dolphin Energy Limited, Oryx GTL and Al Khaleej Gas) with the objective of creating respectful and trustworthy partnerships between the energy industry and the community by offering long-term sustainable initiatives in the fields of education, culture, heritage and environment.
