Doha, Qatar: Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has unveiled its new sonic identity, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture represented by the Music Affairs Center, during the official ceremony held in celebration of the corporation’s silver jubilee.
The sonic identity marks a strategic addition to Kahramaa’s corporate identity system, reflecting the corporation’s character, values, and vision in a creative way that enhances its communication with the public and strengthens its presence across various platforms.
The new sonic identity is based on an innovative musical theme inspired by Kahramaa’s personality and its mission in serving the electricity and water sectors.
The theme was crafted using a blend of authenticity and modernity, incorporating tones that express trust, sustainability, and innovation, offering audiences a distinctive auditory experience that can be immediately recognized. This theme will serve as the unified audio element across all the corporation’s platforms, from media materials and introductory videos to official events and corporate identity content.
The sonic identity was inaugurated through an orchestral performance conducted by Maestro Giovanni Passini, with composition and arrangement by Khalid Al Salim, who presented a comprehensive musical vision inspired by Kahramaa’s identity and reflective of its mission in the electricity and water sectors.
The ceremony also included honouring more than 400 employees who have served Kahramaa for over a quarter of a century across various departments in appreciation of their efforts and contributions that have supported the development and strengthened the corporation’s standing.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, attendees visited the accompanying exhibition, which displayed Kahramaa’s journey through the past and present.
