Doha, Qatar: The launch of the 2026 Qatar Nationalisation Award for the Private Sector marks the culmination of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s vision that humans are the lynchpin of the development engine and its advancement, Assistant Undersecretary for Manpower Affairs in the Private Sector at the Ministry of Labour (MoL), Khames Mohammed Al Nuaimi, has said.
Marking the inauguration of this award, Al Nuaimi clarified that the award is a combined step in the ongoing efforts to realize nationalization in the private sector, with the objective of deepening the culture of nationalization in this critical sector, boosting cooperation between the public and private sectors and educational enterprises, and projecting a national role model for sustaining the national workforce in the private sector.
Al Nuaimi further explained that the award serves to highlight the enterprises that have undertaken gargantuan efforts in creating policies that recruit and maintain the national workforce.
He emphasized that through this award, establishments and individuals are honored in multiple categories, including the Leading Institution in Workforce Nationalization Award, Leadership Excellence Award, and Excellence in Work Patterns Award.
