Doha: The Minister of Culture Arts and Heritage H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari met yesterday heads of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Committee (Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Singapore).
They discussed ways of enhancing cooperation in cultural field with Qatar. Cultural agreements to be signed with some of these countries were also figured in the talks.
They also discussed the appropriate tables and dates for cultural events to be held. Dr Al Kuwari welcomed the submitted ideas that would develop relations between Asian countries and Qatar, which pays special attention to relations with the Asean countries.
