KARACHI: The main accused in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid’s murder case was apprehended on Wednesday, claimed the Rangers spokesman.
According to the spokesman, the suspect Kaleem, was arrested near Teen Talwar (Three Swords) in Karachi’s Clifton area.
The Rangers also recovered weapons from Kaleem’s possession.
Kaleem who has now been handed over to the police is also involved in several other murders.
The PTI Sindh senior vice president, Zahra Shahid Hussain, was gunned down in Karachi on May 18, 2013.
According to reports, unidentified gunmen shot her outside her residence in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase IV.
