Doha: The Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage will celebrate World Heritage Day today.
Celebrations for three days at the heritage village in Al Bida Park, will witness a large number of citizens and expatriates.
Events include folkloric and artistic shows and presentations on Al Marawda art and allewaa.
Other folkloric presentations will be made by Omani, Egyptian, Tunisian, Palestinian, Indian and Philippine folkloric troupes.
Al Bida Park, stretching over two miles along the Corniche, has a Heritage Village that resembles a traditional Qatari village, and an open-air theatre for the annual Doha Cultural Festival. QNA
