Doha: President of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) Eng Essa bin Hilal Al Kuwari and the General Manager of the GCC Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) Adnan Al Mohaisen signed an agreement for interconnection between two substations for GCCIA and Kahramaa.
Kahramaa said in a press release yesterday that the agreement was signed on the sidelines of the GCCIA 13th meeting held here yesterday. The meeting was chaired by GCCIA Chairman Eng Khalid Al Jassar, Electricity and Water Undersecretary, Kuwait, and attended by representatives of member states and Eng. Adnan Al Mohaisen. The meeting discussed various issues on the agenda related to the interconnection among member states. According to the alphabetical order, UAE will chair GCCIA board for the coming three year term.QNA
