DOHA: Talks between OPEC and non-OPEC oil producers in the Qatari capital of Doha have been running for over four hours with Russia and Saudi Arabia debating the wording of a proposed freeze on output, an industry source present at the talks said on Sunday.

Sixteen nations representing about half the world’s oil output have gathered in the Qatari capital in a bid to stabilize the global market, the first significant attempt at coordinating oil output between the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and nations outside the group in 15 years.
