KABUL: A roadside bomb Saturday in western Afghanistan killed four soldiers, the government said.
An Afghan army vehicle was struck by the bomb in the Bakwa district of Farah province, the Defence Ministry said without releasing further information.
Ghani Khan, police chief of the Khak-e-Safid district, was killed in the same province when two Taliban militants riding on motorcycles opened fire on his vehicle, a spokesman for the governor said. (QNA)
