LONDON: Litasco, the trading arm of Russia's Lukoil, has won the bulk of a tender by Egypt's state oil company for delivery of gasoil to the Mediterranean port of Alexandria in the second half of the year, traders said on Tuesday.
Petroineos, BP and Glencore were also winners, they said. Litasco will provide 15 cargoes, BP five, Glencore five and Petroineos three cargoes over the six-month period from July, one of the sources specified.
Egypt awarded the tender at the Mediterranean FOB mean quote plus $17.90-$22.73 a tonne, traders said.
Under a separate tender on Tuesday, Litasco, Mercuria and Glencore will deliver cargoes to the port of Dekheila at the Mediterranean FOB mean quote plus $19.70-$23.00 a tonne, traders said, without specifying the cargo number.
Vitol has won the bulk of another gasoil tender for delivery to Suez over the same period with the prices at around the Middle East Gulf quote plus $5.99-$6.47 a tonne. (Reuters)
