RasGas delegation attends World Petroleum Congress

Doha: A senior level RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) delegation, which includes its Chief Executive Officer, Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi, is attending the ongoing World Petroleum Congress (WPC) and exhibition in Moscow.
RasGas will showcase its capabilities in deliverability, operational excellence, innovative technologies, environmental commitment and safety.
RasGas’ engineers and experts will contribute to the conference’s technical programme, presenting papers and posters on the latest technological developments in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) value chain and on sustainability and energy efficiency.
Qatari national, Noora Al Derham, RasGas Development Planning Specialist will present a paper titled, “Study to treat and re-use treated industrial and process water.” 
There will also be poster presentations by RasGas specialists. Hani Al Kharaz, Head, Reservoir Engineering-Surveillance, will present, “Data integration and evaluation technique: an integrated approach of getting the right data and maximising its value.” While Tachta Hidayat, Advisor, Process Engineering, will present “RasGas experience in conducting the survey of flare passing valves using acoustic technology.” 
The theme of this year’s WPC is “Responsibly Energising A Growing World.” The technical programme of the 21st World Petroleum Congress will consist of four thematic blocks such as Exploration and Production of Oil and Natural Gas; Refining, Transportation and Petrochemistry; Natural Gas Processing, Transportation and Marketing as well as Sustainable Management of the Industry. Each block will be filled with technical forums, best practice sessions and round tables.
