Doha: The one-month-long sports fiesta ‘Khelfest 2022’, organised by TKM College of Engineering (Kerala, India) Alumni-Qatar Chapter came to an end as the team Kadappakkada Blasters won the overall championship at the Al Wakra Qatar Academy ground on June 10, Friday. Other teams that participated were Kuttichira Warriors, Kilikkollur Stars and Karikkode Thunders, all members of the organisation.
‘Khelfest’ included games including cricket, football, volleyball, throwball, badminton and track and field events as well, for age groups ranging from three to fifty five.
“Khelfest 2022’ was a comeback for us after the pandemic restrictions and it has rejuvenated us mentally and physically and we are looking forward to more such events which bind us together in the name of our almamater” says the Sports committee of the organisation, led by Muhammad Junaid.
