In a momentous event highlighting the dedication and commitment to excellence in the field of quantity surveying, the Indian Institute of Quantity Surveyors - Qatar Chapter (IIQS-Qatar) has successfully concluded its nomination process for the Managing Committee of 2023-2024.
The newly elected Managing Committee members are poised to lead IIQS-Qatar with their diverse expertise and unwavering passion. The committee will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the organization and furthering the interests of the quantity surveying community in Qatar.
At the helm of IIQS-Qatar, Kiran Kumar Podakanti has been designated as the President. With his extensive experience and visionary leadership, Kiran Kumar is expected to steer the organization towards new horizons. Dayanidhi Dhandapany has been elected as the Vice President, bringing invaluable insights and guidance to the committee. Manash Kaushik assumes the crucial role of General Secretary, responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of IIQS-Qatar. Assisting Kaushik in managing the secretarial duties is Avinash Ramchandra Gaikwad, who has been elected as the Joint Secretary.
The financial management of IIQS-Qatar will be overseen by Venkat Narsima Reddy, who has been entrusted with the position of Vice President Finance. Reddy’s acumen and financial expertise are expected to contribute significantly to the organization’s growth and stability. The committee is also bolstered by the appointment of Abdul Basith as the Public Relations Manager, tasked with enhancing the organization’s communication and outreach efforts. Additionally, Ganesh Kadam and Aadith Somnath will serve as Membership Managers, responsible for nurturing and expanding IIQS-Qatar’s membership base.
Sunil Kamalaksha, Saravanan VK, and Shameena Koya have been elected as Vice Presidents of the APC/CPD Committee, driving professional development and continuous learning opportunities for quantity surveyors in Qatar.
Rahul Washikar will head the Sports & Entertainment Committee, ensuring a healthy work-life balance and fostering camaraderie among the members. Furthermore, Avinash Arvind Gaikwad will lead the Advisory Panel, bringing his extensive industry knowledge to guide and mentor the committee in their endeavours.
