Beirut: Parliament Speaker of the Lebanese Republic HE Nabih Berri has held talks in Beirut with a joint ministerial delegation from Qatar, the United Kingdom and France, focusing on the country's political and security situation.
The delegation included Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Dr Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad; HE Baroness Chapman of Darlington, Minister of State (International Development and Africa) of the United Kingdom; and HE Eleonore Caroit, Minister Delegate for Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Nationals Abroad, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.
According to Lebanese officials, the meeting reviewed recent developments in Lebanon and examined regional and international efforts aimed at strengthening the country's security and stability.
The discussions also covered a number of issues of mutual interest, reflecting continued international engagement with Lebanon.
