Doha: Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) along with Indian Schools Principals, Indian Community, parents, and students bid farewell recently to Ideal Indian School Principal Syed Shaukat Ali in ICC Ashoka hall. Ali has decided to relocate to India.
Krishna Kumar Bandhakavi General Secretary, ICC, welcomed the gathering. The farewell ceremony was addressed by the chief guest, Sachin Dinkar Sankpal, First Secretary Culture and Education; ICC President, PN Babu Rajan; and ICC advisory Chair, KS Prasad.
In his farewell address, Syed Shoukat Ali recalled his memories and thanked the Indian community and ICC for their services. He also volunteered for any help he can give especially on advice in the future and said he would love to return to Qatar if conditions permit.
Karnataka Sangha Qatar, under the leadership of Mahesh Gowda, MC, members of KSQ, Science India Forum, President Ravi Kumar and the team also attended the ceremony.
Subramanya Hebbagelu, ICC VP proposed the vote of thanks for the farewell function and also shared his experience working with Ideal School Principal Syed Shoukat Ali.
