People participate in a special prayer for peace in the Middle East at St Xavier’s Church, Navrangpura, in Ahmedabad yesterday. Similar prayers have been held across the western state of Gujarat to pray for peaceful resolution of conflicts in the Middle East, particularly in Gaza and northern Iraq.
