Real estate market makes strong recovery

DOHA: Qatar’s real estate market made a significant recovery during the second week of August, both in terms of the value of deals and the number of transactions. The total value of trading in real estate during the week (from August 7 to 11) touched QR400.7m, up nearly 80 percent compared to QR222.6m during the previous week, said Ezdan Holding’s weekly report.
The report, citing data from the weekly bulletin issued by the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice, noted that the list of properties that were traded included open plots of land, houses and mixed-use buildings.
The number of total transactions increased to 43 from 36 during the previous week.
