Doha: Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, will participate in the meeting of the Ministers concerned with the Municipal Affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, which will be held today in Kuwait. The Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning H E Sheikh Abdulahman bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani will head the Qatari delegation to the meeting. Senior officials have held a preparatory meeting to discuss a range of topics related to municipal work, including the progress regarding GCC Prize for Municipal Work.
Doha: The Foreign Minister’s Assistant for Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi yesterday received a copy of the credentials of Christophe Payot as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium and Nguyen Hoang as Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Al Rumaihi wished the ambassadors success in their duty and further growth and prosperity for bilateral relations. A number of Foreign Ministry officials attended the ceremony.
