Doha: Many thanks to Filipinos and Indians in Qatar for their assistance to Afghans in the country said Assistant Foreign Minister.
In two separate tweets, the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater thanked both the community for their generosity.
To the Filipinos in the country she wrote, in English and Filipino, "Many thanks to the Philippino community in Qatar, for their generosity & solidarity with our fellow Afghans. They’ve been quietly sending their contributions. You’ve always shown that you’re an integral part of Qatar."
In the second tweet, written in Hindi and Urdu, she wrote, "Many thanks to the Indian community and the Embassy in Qatar, the gifts you distributed made Afghan children smile again."
