DOHA: The security and immigration departments at Doha International Airport have distributed gifts to passengers, flight crews and customs staff on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
“Such a warm welcome with gifts is not new in Qatar, they distribute gifts on Eid and other occasions to arrival passengers,” said Umm Adil a tourist to Qatar.
Umm Adil a GCC tourist said she came to Qatar to celebrate Eid Al Adha and she planned to visit Katara and Souq Waqif, among other tourism spots in the country. The security and immigration departments departments said they were working round-the-clock to clear the passengers and were ready to receive Haj pilgrims started returning from Makkah yesterday.
