Doha: Qatar welcomed the outcome of initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, who called a meeting of Riyadh, which strengthened the GCC cooperation and integration march and approved the return of ambassadors to Qatar.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry praised King Abdullah’s keenness to reach the desired success to meet aspirations and hopes of the GCC people.
It expressed Qatar’s thanks and appreciation of the role played by the Emir of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to enhance the GCC march. It stressed Qatar’s keenness in GCC solidarity. QNA
