DOHA: Ambassador of Kenya to Qatar Galma Mukhe Boru has invited Quality Group International to invest in Kenya for taking the full advantages of Keniyan trade and investment-related incentives, said a statement yesterday.
Boru visited Quality Group corporate office at Hilal yesterday and met company Chairman Shamsudheen Olakara. Kenyan Ambassador accompanied with Daniel Tanui, minister of counselor affairs, offered full support to the company to start operations in retail, engineering, healthcare and farm sectors.
Boru further said that Quality Group International could explore and capture the international trade markets of Kenya and other countries of Africa.
Kenyan Ambassador also assured full cooperation and technical assistance for promoting the strengthened bilateral trade relations between, Kenya and Indian community, saying that there were bright opportunities of establishing joint ventures between Kenya and India in different trade fields, in this regard.
Kenyan delegates invited company experts to Kenya to explore and capture the international trade markets in their country, and also to conduct market studies in Kenya for possible investments.
Olakara accepted the invitation and informed Boru his desire to export farm and agricultural products from Kenya to Middle East and Asian countries.
Olakara also mentioned group’s expansion plans that is named vision 2020. He also explained about their interest to expand retail and health care operations in to African countries including Kenya.
