Gaza: Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza, in cooperation with Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), began yesterday disbursing the Qatari grant to poor families in Gaza strip.

Undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Social Affairs Dr. Ghazi Hamad told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the process has started and will last for several days.

He also said that the beneficiaries have received messages directing them to places determined by the United Nations to receive the Qatari grant.

He added that 94 thousand families received those texts in order to go receive funds from the Qatari grant, noting that the disbursement process will last for several more days.

It is worth noting that the disbursement process is being carried out through the United Nations, and the centres it determined in Gaza.

There are a total of 300 centers and stores that were chosen for that process, which will last for around 10 days.
