Doha, Qatar: Ten executives from Qatar have been included in Forbes Middle East's fifth annual list of the Top 100 CEOs, released yesterday, November 18, 2025. The rankings highlight leaders driving initiatives towards innovation, diversification and global relevance.
"In our November issue, we unveil the Middle East’s Top 100 CEOs, executives driving the region’s growth, with Emiratis leading the charge and banking dominating the list. Explore the visionaries shaping the region’s leading corporations," Forbes Middle East stated as it released the edition.
The Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and CEO of QatarEnergy, HE Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi was ranked fifth, while QNB Group CEO Abdulla Mubarak Al-Khalifa ranked ninth. Others included in the list are Ooredoo Group CEO Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo (Rank 38); Doha Bank Group CEO Abdulrahman Bin Fahad Al-Thani (Rank 58); Qatar Financial Centre CEO Yousuf Al-Jaida (Rank 62); Qatar Islamic Bank Group CEO Bassel Gamal (Rank 64); Qatar Insurance Group CEO Salem Al Mannai (Rank 68); Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) CEO Abdullah Al-Sulaiti (Rank 75); Qatar Free Zones Authority CEO Mohammed bin Hamad bin Faisal Al-Thani (Rank 81); and Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company CEO and MD Tarek M El Sayed (Rank 84).
Forbes Middle East noted that the rankings were based on the CEOs' impact on the region, their countries and the markets they serve, their overall experience and tenure, the size of the company, their achievements and innovations over the past year.
The 2025 list includes CEOs from 18 nationalities with banking and financial services dominating the sectors represented.
