Hundreds of aviation enthusiasts yesterday trooped to the Al Khor Airfield on the opening day of the sixth edition of the annual Al Khor Fly-In. Around 40 aircraft from Qatar and other GCC countries are participating in the show, which ends today.
Families and children had their photos taken alongside diverse types of aircraft while others queued for an exciting 10-minute trip on board microlight aircraft at a minimal fee.
An exhibition featuring aircraft dealers, airlines and travel agencies in Qatar is also at the venue, where a food court and inflated slides and bouncy castles for children have been set up.
