Sanaa--Huthi militiamen opened fire on a convoy carrying Yemen's Prime Minister Khalid Bahah in the capital Sanaa on Monday but he escaped unharmed, Information Minister Nadia Sakkaf said.
Sakkaf said on Twitter that fighters at a checkpoint in central Sanaa had fired on the convoy, amid continuing clashes between the Shia militia and the army.
