Doha: Customs authorities at Hamad International Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle banned substance into Qatar.
In a statement, Customs announced that 1.1201kg of methamphetamine was found in the guts of a traveler, after being transferred to a hospital. It also shared photos of the contraband.
Customs officers are provided with all means of support including the latest devices and continuous training to read the body language of passengers and to be aware of the latest methods followed by smugglers.
