Activists from various trade unions in a torch-light rally in support of the upcoming two-day All India General Strike, in Kolkata, yesterday. For the first time in the history of the country all the 11 central trade unions and thousands of independent federations have given a call to the workers to observe strike tomorrow and Thursday, protesting against the policies of the government.
