DOHA: The Birla Public School (BPS) conducted a farewell event for XII grade - 2017 to 2018 batch of students.

It was organised, with a winter theme of sky blue and snow white, by the XI grade in A K Birla auditorium recently.

The programme began with the school prayer and a welcome speech.

A choir group, consisting of XI grade students, performed at the beginning and end of the programme. Chosen students XII grade, A to H, delivered speeches appreciating the institution and their teachers.

Each outgoing student was honoured with a memento by the Principal and Senior Vice-Principal who were accompanied by the other authorities of the school during the ceremony.

The School Principal, A P Sharma, addressed the gathering,  highlighting the challenges of their future and inspiring them to face them successfully.

Nostalgic recollections of the batch were presented in a video simultaneously throughout the program. A recorded talk of the retired Principal, A K Shrivastava, was presented as a surprise video.
