Doha: The farewell for the 2022-2023 batch of 12th graders was conducted in the opulently decorated auditorium of Birla Public School, by their juniors.

The event, Euphoria, was organised on the evening of February 7, 2023, by the present Grade XI students under the guidance of an experienced team of teachers.

The programme started with a unique prayer and a welcome speech by the MCs. The Academic Director-Principal Harish Sanduja, the Vice Principals Radhika Rele, Rajesh Pillai and Edna Fernandez, Headmistresses, Heads of various Departments, Year Coordinators and teachers attended the event.

The Academic Director-Principal Harish Sanduja felicitated the outgoing batch and shared his best wishes with the students.

The Indian fusion dance by the Grade XI girls and Grade XI boys mesmerised the audience. The dance was followed by a group song. The outgoing batch of class 12 students also entertained the audience with a surprise dance performance.

Representative student speakers, Arlene, Mahima and Larrisa from the Science, Commerce and Humanities stream, respectively, of the outgoing batch shared their memories in the school and thanked the teachers. A special memento was presented to each outgoing student by the Senior Leadership Team to appreciate their effort and hard work.

A compiled video presentation of all the teachers wishing the students the best of luck for their future in a series of recorded messages was showcased. The coronation of Prince Soud Mohammed and Princess Smriti Haridasan, by the Leadership team was one of the highlights of the evening.

The selection was accomplished based on best demeanour.   The programme concluded with the students creating memories in the photo-booth and with a grand buffet.

The MCs Shane, Ardra, Tarika and Leon, all Grade XI students, orchestrated the function with aplomb and guided everyone skilfully through the ceremony.
