Doha: To promote volleyball and benefits of a healthy lifestyle, Aspire Zone will hold the first edition of Aspire Beach Volleyball Tournament on April 17 and 18 at its Sand Pitch.
Aspire Zone has collaborated with Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) to host the event as it aims to diversify sporting events it has to offer the local community.
The tournament is an opportunity for residents to compete separately and will have the chance to walk away with the best beach volleyball male/female team title in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
The tournament will start with preliminary rounds during which participating teams will be divided into Group A and Group B. The first round will be played in a league format with the first of Group A taking on the second of Group B, followed by the first of Group B taking on the second of Group A.
