DOHA: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce will hold a public draw tromorrow for the allotment of 21 land plots to build warehouses at logistic area, “Jari Al Samar” in Umm Salal.
The draw will be held at Sheikh Fahad bin Jassem Al Thani Hall at the Headquarters of the Ministry in the presence of all companies participating in the bid for transparency of the draw, said the Logistic Committee at the Ministry.
The project aims to provide investment opportunities to local companies at Jari Al Samr. About 21 land plots with different sizes will be allotted.
The area will have roads, electricity and water connections among others. A project to develop the area costs more than QR133m and is being implemented and expected to be completed in 24 months.
The area is located at a strategic area which is close to Al Shamal road. The land will be available on 30 years lease contract. The rent will be QR900 per square metre to be paid in four instalments.
