Qatar Media Corporation's program plan for Ramadan a huge success

Doha: The Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) achieved exceptional success in its program plan for the television channels and radio stations during the holy month of Ramadan, under the directives of HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al Thani, CEO of QMC. 

QMC took upon itself a development plan this year, which was reflected in the success of the channels and radio stations, that resonated with a wide audience who interact with them through social media and different platforms.

Qatar TV programs witnessed a great interaction by the audience during Ramadan, as many of these programs gained high views number on live TV broadcasts and on social media platforms, as competition programs exceeded millions of interactions.

As for Qatar Radio, the plan for Ramadan was marked by a number of recorded and live programs, as the radio devoted a large space to discussing everything that helps family stability through a large number of specialists who presented many discussion fields that gained great interaction from the listeners.

Its sports channel Al Kass for the Holy Month included many events and programs, of which most notable was the “Ramadan competitions” program, that followed and monitored all events and tournaments across various sports that took place in the country.

Also, the Quran Radio presented in its program session this year a variety of jurisprudence topics, Quranic sciences, the Prophet’s biography, Islamic history, and encouragement in the virtues of deeds.

As for radio stations in foreign languages, such as Urdu Radio, Spanish Radio, English Radio, and French Radio, they also achieved great turnout from listeners, which reflects the efforts of these radio teams to provide distinctive and varied content to the public.

The Marketing Department of QMC launched a marketing plan during Ramadan, in cooperation with a number of competent authorities, in order to achieve the highest viewership and listening to the programs of its channels and radio stations.
