ISLAMABAD: Five more persons were killed in overnight firing and violence incidents in different parts of this mega-metropolis city, Pakistan's Geo News reported Wednesday morning.
Police said that unknown persons opened fire on a vehicle killing van driver Imran at sector 5-C2 of North Karachi in the vicinity of Khawaja Ajmernagri police station.
One person was shot dead and two injured in firing near Korangi crossing, Bhittai Colony, the body and the injured persons were shifted to the hospital, where the deceased was identified as Qaisar and the wounded persons as Khalid and Nasir.
Two bodies have been recovered from Landhi Bhains Colony and Juna Market in the old city area, while one body of a young boy was found near Machchar Colony stop on Mauripur Road, who was first tortured and then shot dead, the body has been shifted to Civil Hospital for autopsy.
Besides, one stray bullet coming from unknown direction killed one minor girl at Malir. (QNA)
