Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) benchmark index dropped 69.81 points, or 0.75 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 9,188.09 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 9.79 million from 26.66 million on Thursday and the value of shares decreased QR219.48m from QR644.42m on Thursday.
From of 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 41 saw trading yesterday. Of these, 18 gained; 21 companies closed lower; and two remained unchanged. Indices of six sectors ended in the red zone and one sector ended in green zone yesterday.
