Gaza: Chairman of the Palestinian Scholars Association, Dr Marwan Abu Ras, hailed the role being played by the State of Qatar and its support for the Palestinian people and the besieged Gaza Strip.
Dr Abu Ras urged scholars to say a word of truth and stand by Qatar, which supports the people of Palestine, besieged Gaza and Jerusalem subjected to Judaisation, praising in this regard the position of Qatar's charitable societies and its charitable and humanitarian role. He called on the Arab and Islamic nation to unite, stressing that there is no enemy but the Israeli occupation, which forcibly took over the Palestinian Land and expelled the Palestinians from their own land.
"We, the scholars of Palestine, pay tribute to all who stood with our people in Gaza and Palestine," he said, saluting on their behalf the State of Qatar, which entered every street spreading joy in hearts of Gaza's employees.
In this context, Dr Abu Ras highly appreciated the efforts being exerted by Qatar aimed at developing the Gaza Strip's infrastructure and hospitals as well as providing continuous support.
